The Dulcimer Group and the Woodcarvers are back in action.
Dulcimer Group Also named "Sweet Pickin's".
The Dulcimer Group will be meeting the second Monday of the month. Under the direction of Dr. Scott Stine. We have been a small group of players, but always welcome more. The meetings will be at the Art Center at 6:00pm. For more information call the Art Center at 330-627-3739.
Woodcarvers Gathering
The Woodcarvers meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 6:00 pm until 8 pm or so, with carvers Rod Hardy, Chuck Feehn and Ken Grigsby.
We have been carving on the porch recently since it was cooler than inside with the A/C turned off.
This also has allowed us to be more respectful during this virus thing.
We will continue on the outside porch until we lose daylight, then will relocate inside the center.
We have been a small group of Woodcarvers, but always welcome more.
Don’t worry about your experience level, we work together and support all. If you are interested in learning, bring your carving tools or an X-acto knife and the instructors will provide the item to be carved. They also have knives available for sale. The only charge requested is a small donation for gas for the Stark County instructors.
